I'm back from overseas again! haha.. praiSe GOD! for those hu din noe i actuallie went korea for a week plus over Xmas.! yeaps for a very WHITE xmas this time.. haha.. totallie awesome experience to see snow turning to iCe for the first time.. sorry lar i abit 'Sua Ku'. I went there with my parents, juz 3 of us excluding my bro. Thank goD for all the Quality time we had together! haha.. manage to reallie catch up with them and brought them to some roller coaster rides which FreaKEd them out.. wahaha..

LazY to write too much.. haha.. so basically i went to Seoul and Jeju via domestic flights. Climbed some mountains.. saw a crater.. Snow SkIng.. ThemE Park.. viSit some DaChangJin Site.. ate lots of Korean Kimchi.. experienced temperature of -8 dEGrEES!! wind temp of -15 deGrEes!! awesome!! i lyk cold weather one.. if possible i'll juz WeaR sHORTS! wahaha.. took over 300 plus photos... tell me if u wanna see them! =) dun reallie have much things to buy from korea leh.. so sorry if i never give u anything!! tsk tsk.. cos not i dun wanna buy but dun have anYtHInG to buy! haha.. plus very ExPEnsive too.. forgive me hor! haha..

Language is reallie a barrier there! simply cannot communicate properly! haha.. everytime enter a shop they'll greet us and i juz dunnoe how to react.. if say some english word oso scared might turn out to be a vulgar word in korean.. reallie.. it always happen.. trust me! haha.. nevertheless think i quite pro now liao.. next time can go there bag pack! wahaha..

However, when i reached singapore, my bag actuallie gone missing leh!! it wasn't on the conveyor belt which its suppose to be!! apparently i became quite panicky.. everyone began to leave happily.. then i realised my lagguage is lost!! haha.. immediately i noe jialat! but i always pretty calm lar.. i went to file a report at some office and they checked for me.. realised tt it was wrongly sent to some ulu place in cambodia!! haha.. can u imagine.. i'm in singapore and my bag in cambodia.. so they said they'll fly the bag back to singapore the next day and send to my house. indeed i got back my bag now and its intact.. praise goD!! =) very troublesome cos i left all my chargers in my bag.. so i couldn't charge my phone too.. went flat. =P

On the whole, the trip was superb!! dun mind goin again!! haha.. alot more things i experienced lar.. but i too lazy to type out.. a picture speaks a thousand words.. show u pic better! haha..

FACT Camp

It is the annuaL YF camp again! yeah.. too bad I attended 2 out of 4 days due to my other commitments such as hall training!! I waS trEmendOUslY BLeSsed man. the experience was AwEsome. I made a number of new frens and most importantly i had the opportunity to really Love PeOple. On Saturdae, the groups were actualLie sent to different HoMes to do communitY work! it is part of oUr LoVe oUtreaCH to peOplE not just around US but also those who're slightly more misfortunate and old. LOVe is indeed a decision and a CHoiCe that requires us to step out of our comfort zOnE. It is this act of LoVe tHat will reallie break down strongholds, barriers and bondages and set people free.

My group was assigned to BethANy NuRSing HomE. It was superb experience. A long time since i did 'community service'. When we went there, the old folks were all gathered in some Hall waiting for us! A service was held where there was singing of Carols and preaching of JeSus's Love. There're awkward times where we were required to go around shaking their hands and tell them some hokkien words.( can't rem wat was it...) It reallie touched me when i see the smile in their faces! Especially when the youths lyk us were singing hokkien songs. Although we didn't even know how to pronunce the words properly, I can see tt they felt loved. They clapped along and raised their hands worshipped JeSus. During the preaching, i was impressed by some of their faith, when they were asked questions lyk 'Who will deliver you from your troubles?'(in hokkien) ... some would shout 'Ia-SoH' means JeSuS. Totallie awesome. After everything, i had the chance to push some of them back to their respective wards. I tried to communicate with them as much as i could with my limited HokKien VoCab. not very fruitful but everytime i see the smile on their faces, every handshake tt went forth, my heart is strangely warmed... PraIse God. indeed more than words...

It was SatuRday night when we had our last night games or rather my first.. haha.. It was a ShAG gAMe.. had to carry this 'paralytic' all the way and find some 'doctors'.. was a fun game!! my group though we were the SMALLEst group we came in first for that game. TotaLLie awesome for me.. especially tt i juz came and 'helped' my group won.. as least contribute sth.. haha.. The people in my group were reallie funnie.. very enthusiastic throughout the game.. Everyone just wanna finish it together. there was just SO Much Love shaRed abroad in our hearts which i believe is a very good start for the younger ones cos i'm the second oldest in the group. Got to know each other better and was juz so memorable for my 2 days.! thanKS SImEoN!! =)

VeRy Busy... but i still wanna bLog!! haha.. Past 3 nights i was having my Drama rehearsal until very late!! until lyk 2300hrs. But then i believe its all woRth it!! hehe.. as long as i'm able to serve GoD and love His people.. i think its reallie a privilege!! =) For your information i'm not the main lead.. in case u all think i'm so talented.. wahaha... juz some 'caRe-leh-fare'..but at least get to say 4 lines.. HeEhee....

Then TodaE my cOuncil chalet committee met up at PoH's house. TotallIe awesome pEople, Joycelyn and clarence. I'm so blesSed to be abLE to wOrk wiTh them to plan this major event even after 3 years. I can feel their dedication to the work juz to see the chalet a success. Juz pray that the council won't disappoint us!! haha.. I won't disclose much of the programme to keep everyone in suspense regarding the exciting programme lined up.. hehe...

I was reading this passage of scripture and was pretty encouraged!! I wanna share with u all some thoughts.. tsk.. can rite..!! haha.. dun sae cannot. There was this famous person called DaViD in the bIble. I'm sure most of you have heard stories after stories about him. Then again as i was thinkin thru abt his life... i was more and more amazed.. totallie. You know.. David was juz some MEre shepherd boy. PlayIn his HARp in the midst of HiS sheeps, worshIp gOD in his own way. I believe he was absorbed in GoD's Love for him. SooN he became a LiOn kIller bear killer, GiaNT killer and finally, king over IsraeL.! Think abt it, no one on earth, no matter how strong he is, can come against a lion and prise open its mouth to snatch back his sheep which the lion had carried away, UNLESS God's anointing and protection is on him!! And this was indeed wat happened to David the shepherd boy who went after the lion, caought it by its beard, struck it and killed it, and thus delievered the lamb from its mouth( 1 Samuel 17:34-37)

Beloved Frens, feeD on JesUS's love for you, u'll be filled with the fullness of GoD. Like DavID, God's anointed will begin to operate powerfully in your life. At LaSt i blOg?? haha.. nOooo at last i finsh my exAmS!! yeaH! it all ended todae.. feel lyk i can fly now. So its holidaes for me now..! even holidaes oso very bUsY man!! I got Council chalet to organise.. church drama.. church camp.. Blk C xmas event, plus goIn oversEaS!! sounds lyk an array of strings (cs110c)wahah.. busy to thE maX! nevertheless these are things i lyK to do! I can Do all thinG thRu ChRist hu strengthens me=)

So wat should i Blog about todaE? Actuallie i oso dunnoe!! haha.. I shall tHank GoD!! YeS.. I belieVE its HIm who have indeed brought me through these tough times!! It is His Grace that is more than sufficient!! During my semester 1, was reallie difficult to adapt to the system. VeRy competitive in NuS eNGine!! especially when many people dun stay in hall, they've nth else but sTUDY!!! yet i've commitments in hall. MeanwhILe luCky i got no GalFren! *hiNt HInT* wahaha... So i no choice but focus on study only.. sad rite!! wahah..

YeapZ.. UpdatEs about myself.. yeSss i'm stilL SINGLE.. SaD!! still as jovial and hAPpie!! stIll wanNA give GoD all the GloRy and thaT everY gOOD thing u see in my Life is from HIm and HIm alone! realLie.! no JOKe.! =) Thank GoD for the people around me.. More than just the angbaos i got or the wedding i get to sit, I saw many many people that i've not seen for years! ALL of theM said i've changed so much! which i agree.. hopEfuLly its for the better!! better lar.. hahaha.. I even saw my primary school teacher who taught me and my EldEr brother maths!!! to the MAX!! she started her career teaching my brother's primary 1 maths! taught me also. and now she's retiring. time flies.. she's an awesome teacher.. y i love maths so much and in engine now.. maybe its cos of her teachin? maybe.. apparentky she did a great JoB.. hMmmm.. *i'm touched, i'm grateful* MaNy other aunties and mother loke's frens, i still remember them since young!! i'm SOoOOOoo happiee that they're all doin fiNe=) i PRAY that they'll alwayS be and coMe for my WeDDing too!! tsk.. cos i juz wanna share that haPPiE occasIOn with Them all. =) I wanna wish brother loke all the besT in his marriage and i'm reallie very happiE for him! I also changed my laptop! i sold away my old one to a malaysian!! I feel that i was reallie divine!! cos after a few days, he actuallie msg me and thank me for the great DeaL!! Not juz thaT he also enjoyed the HIllSOng songs in my computer!! totally awesome!! apparently he can't get them in malaysia. Praise God.. EVerything is made perfect in his timing!! ameN!.. i've juz bless malaysia indirectly! =) not i got myself a new macBook. very nice!! haha..

I feel lyk sharing a passage of scripture which reallie sums up the THING that pulled me thru my exams. can can?? haha.. FOr those still having exams i believe this will help! for those not... u'll remember me when yr exams come lor.! haha..

This is so TrUe for the past 2 months when i was in hall muggin for my exams. I would sleep extremely late lyk 0300 and force myself up early juz to keep studyin. yess.. NONSTOP. ck can testify to that. to me every second counts. I believe when i see myself study from a thrid person point of view, i'll get freak out myself!!! cos i juz wanna do well and gIVe my Best!! reallie.. regardless what the result is, to the gLOrY of GoD!! I may sound quite 'spiritual' here.. but then..I osO learning.. I tHank GoD HE teaches me these things..Whenever exams come, wE ALwaYS forgET the FaCT that the bIblE says "UnlESS the LORD BUiLDs the HOuSe, They LAbOUr in Vain who build it; unless the LORD GuaRDs the City, the waTChmaN stAYs awAke in VaIN."Psalms 127:1. You see, GoD is the ONE who builds my studies and He watches over mE. He is the one who will give Me wisdom for studyin.. understanding for our books. I'm NOT the OnE!! We are such doers and performers, that it is very hard for us to let go and Let GOD take over. But when we actuallie cast our cares, anxieties, worries and concerns once and for all into HIs HanDs, we will see how He CARES for Us aFfectiOnately and WaTChfully( 1 PEter 5:7). He will GlaDLy take care of our problems and work things out for OUR good.. SImply cos He loves US. I'm also on this journey.. learning to trust on the FatHEr's love for me that nEvEr leT me down. and HE will NEvEr will. =) praISe JesuS.

On a more serious Note.. I wanNA thank GoD for pulling me through my past 3 weeks. Firstly, i have been trainin for almost all the sports cos i enthu join all! these sports include.. TRaCk, BadmiNton, Sepak TekRaw, Volleyball, Soccer, Road relay and so ON!! eveN weEKENDS oso got this Inter Block Competition (IBG). Plus i had my New Blance ReAL RUN and ARMY HALF MARathOn for the last two sundays. Not juz did i ran and not stop.. i thought i did pretty well too!! better than i expected.. lyk got top 10% for both..?? MUZ be GOD!! reallie.. cos i never train plus got injury for SEpAk tekraw.. but on that dae i juz seem to have strength to run after i pRAYED=) HIS strength is made perfECT in my weakness.!! GlorY to goD!!

Then there has BEEn this EpiDemic goin around in my hAll!! alot of ppl got infected with this virus, COnJUnctiviTis!! its a sore eye thingy.. not juz eyes red leh.. heard it was very painfuL too.. lyk needles pokin? i dunnoe.. I reallie believe got KEpT me safE for this!! my whole level from my block got it!! probable cos of the common toilet and lounge that we use!! 12 out of 15 ppl got iT!! very serious.. but miraculously i'm SAFE!! though i got rub my eyes and stuffs.. i believe HIS hand of PRotecTion was upOn me.. hence i'm not ashaME of JESUS's name cos is hIM who reallie protected me by HiS grace.. Soo lets cOntinue to come against thIS vIRus!! and pray that those Infected will be HEAleD.

I am sure most of you knew that i was in SydNEy for the past 10 days!! but not all of you knoW that i was there for HiLlsong Conference 06.. haha.. waTs HilLSong?!? its actuallie a vEry BIG chRistiAn chuRch there which organises an annual conference for every christian in the world to participate.. the conference last for 5 days! morning to night!! yesS!! sounds xiOng rite.. i've to agree.. tt was wat i THOUGHT at the beGiNniNg..!! was Soooo WRonG.. tsktsk.. but its toTalLie AMAZING.. let me shAre my thoughts and feelings kay? hOpe u all duN miND..! haha.. i reallIe praY that this entry will BleSs you and u'll feeL my BUrnING dEsiRe so StrONgly as i try to put them to woRds.. pRaISe GOD!!

The conFereNce was held in the Acer ARenA.. sth lyk the indoor stadium in SydnEy.. of course MucH biGger!! every night there were two rallies, 1630 and 1930hrs, by 2 different speakers. every ralLy was a different speaker.. coming from different parts of the world.. they're among the BEST teachers and PreacHErs of GoD's word in the WoRld.. realLie.. other than the WorD.. there was wORshIp by HILLSONG teaM.. the super FamoUs worshiP teaM which produce ALOT of CDs and songs.. where many churches in singapore use their songs durin worSHip. The moSt impactfuL time of the ConferenCe, to me, was the last two days when this preacher, REINHARD BONNKE, delievered the word of God in sucH a MANIFIcenT manner.. Let me give you an intrO to hiM.. BonnKe is an evangelist! and his ministry is basically to spread the goOd nEws of the GOspeL worldWide.. Particularly AFRICA!! his cruSaDes is can BLOw our mINd.. let me tell you.. He preacheD to NOT less than 1 MILLION crowd at each crusade.. in juz 5 YeaRs of his miniStrY.. more than 41 MILLION souls were saved.. Lifes were tranSforeMED!! at his crusade.. the BLIND would SEE.. the LAME would WALK!!! MiraCulOus.. yeSs..! its not about BonNke but its about JESUS woRking thru him that reallie touChEd and transformed so many lifes!! PraiSe gOD in the Highest..!! thankfully i heard him on the last second night.. yeapx.. BloGgin agaiN!! I wanna shAre about my woRk eXperience at ExpO!! if you dunnoe, i was workin for the IT ExhiBitIon held at exPo for the past four days!! Frankly speaking, it almost became the worSt job i had ever DonE.. yes.. worse than tele-marketing.. haha.. okok.. let me share...

The pay was realLie bAD..!! its lyk $5.50 per hour!! to the max right.. NvM.. i had to reach expo every morning at 0945 from SEmbAwaNG lor!! all the way until 1800hrs with ONLY half an hour lUNcH break in between lor..!! in addition to that i was one of the FOUR hu were SUAy enoUgh to become part of this Shuttle Bus 'bOiS'.. only FOUR of us were in charge of directing human traffic or sth... while my OTHER frens hu worked with me were detailed for other jobs lyk data entry and ushering!! they were told to wear black long sleeves, black pants and leather shoes.. while the Shuttle Bus boIs were told to come in poLo Tee, JEaNS and track ShoEs..!! i already felt some discriminatioN lor.. there were even tiMEs when the supErviSor forgot to tell us we could gO until we asked HeR ourselves.. can get reallie mAd man me..i was lyk 'ArGH!!!'

The FOUR of us were split into two groups.. wat we had to do was basically to direct ppl from the MRT Station to the various halls.. it wasn't juz directin lor.. we had to USE the LOUD HAILER!! thats lyk SOOoOoOOoOOooO embarrassing riTe.. the problem was nobody could hear us cos of the NoISe around yet when they saw US they LauGhed at us.. i was reallie pissed off.. there was once we didn't use the Loud Hailer for a period of time.. then the SUPERVISOR came over and asked us if we were supposed to use the loud Hailer... SaRcastiC rite!! anGry man...

sOoo throughout the four days i managed to switch partners and know all the shuttle buS bois.. it was on the second day that i got to know this indian Uncle.. we had a reallie goOd chat during our work.. realLIE.. He was lyk sharing his life story with me!! i was sad when i hear him.. He is lyk 42 years old already.. then he got retrenched Twice.. he is the BreaDwiNnEr of hiS family with a FamILy to raise.. one chILd!! and... he was doing the same part time as me.. soOo.. as i talked to him.. i had coMpassIon for him.. yea.. MonEy was no doubt reallie hard to earn for him.. buT as i see hiM.. he reallie leads a happie-go-luckY lIfe.. i kept complainin while i was workIn..!! oppss.. haha.. but He alWayS had a SmilE on hiS face.. =) I PRay thaT GoD will mOve MIghtily in hIs life..

anOTher PartNEr is a fren hu juz oRdEd.!! goin to uni tgt with me.. i worked with him for the last 2 days..!! we reallie had great fun playing those lame gamEs in order to pass time.. He is qUite HAnDsOMe too.. opps.. gAls.. dO yr Job.. haha.. we ToOk lots of Photos and VideOS... towards the end already so dun care if anyone was lOokIN!! haha.. we juz had fUN!! alThough it was tiriNG.. STanDINg there the WHOLE day except during Lunch.. we manage to share with one another our life story.. be it our LovE relationshiPs.. oppss.. or evEn our ArmY experiences.. we became SOoOoO gd frens that we even decided to meet up again..hahhaa...

All in alL.. although it was a lowly paid JOB.. i seriously beliEve GoD Put me there for a purpose!! i got to noe the people around me and use me to speak to them.. pRaISe goD for thaT... OnlY goD can Put us at the RighT place at the Right time..!! =) i could simply STOP working after the first day.. which i almost DID.. but i decided to sUBmit!! a principle GoD taught US.. hEnce.. the spIrit oF suBmiSsion allowed me to press on.. and.. i believe goD hAs used me one way or another.. =)

Wah.. reallie too busY to Blog..!! sorrie Guys.. haha.. anYwae i'm EagEr to share wat I've experienced for my SheaRes ExpoSure Camp. It was a 4 days 3 night thing... Stayed at Sheares Hall.. was reallie suPer HappEning man.. everydae slept lyk only 5 hours.. sleep at 3am.. wake up at 8.30am.. woRsE than army lor.. at least got 7 hours of sleep.. but reallie wortH it.. hahaha.. I happen to be in the same group as Ck.. called CaPtaIN plaNet!!! haha.. cos the theme of the Camp was Superheros.. our group was lyk the most quiet group.. YeSs... surprising to most you i kNOW cos already got ck and me.. still lyk tt.. anywae for the first 2 days was reallie quiet.. the guys were ExtrEmEly uNited..!! the gals too.. but abit SHY lar hor.. we spoke at the same 'frequency' and laughed at the same lame jokes.. reallie funny... ThaNK GoD!!

OnE of the highlights of the caMp was.. the Secret Pal thingy.. whereby all of us are assigned a secret pal each.. mine was Tarzan and Jane.. so i won't noe hus Jane until the revelation night on the third day!! haha.. but on the second dae.. we will get to interact with one another.. blind folded at sentosa.. so.. there i went talkin happily to 'Jane'... NOT KNOWING tt she's actuallie a councillor!! KenNA FAKE!! hahaha... cos my REAL Jane was absent on the second day night.. all the while i was triCkEd man.. haha.. But on the third dae.. when THEY werE revealed.. i realised i'm Quite lUckY!!! haha.. cos ppl only got one SP.. i got TWO SPs.. that means two presents!! opps.. haha.. reallie fuNnie experienced...=)

On the LAst dae.. which was quite sad.. cos we had to part from one another.. some of my OG mates aren't stayin in Hall actuallie.. they juz come for fun.. we grew very close to one another especially after those late night suppers we had together.. Reallie thanK goD for that great coMpany of New Frens.. we may not have won many of our games.. may not cheer as loud as other groups.. BUT we know we did our BEsT!! and we never forget this GREAT experience.. hope to see CaPtaIn PlaNET soon.. =)

AnOther BlOg hor.. thanks to HuIqiNg who reminded me!! hahaha.. No lar.. juz wanna ShaRe this GrEaT tesTImOny that the LoRd has doNe in my Life!! Last night.. i played tenNis at YiO Chu Kang with my dad... as usuaL i was there earlie to warM up...!! I went straight from town.. so my dad brought my shoe bag from home for me.. In the shoe bag.. got my aDiDas shOes, toweL and my aRmy SPecs..!! My dad caMe and i changed.. i warmed up, stretched on the floor and proceeded into the courT 5..! we booked 9 to 10 p.m .. in order to waste ANy TiMe.. at 8.55pm we'll strat to cheong iN..haha.. sO we PlayEd for the WHolE hOur one.. Dun WaSte time.. tsk tsk...

At 10 p.m when we walked out of the courts.. oH No!!! i realised where's my ShOE BAG!!!! its not with me.. nor my DaD!! then WHeRE issit!!!??? wa liao.. it's my FaVourite REEF slIpPErs from taiwan leh.. cannot muz find.. so i searched hIgH and Low.. when in and out of the CouRts.. after 10pm ALL the lIghTs were alreadY oFf!! can only ReLY on the MRT lights.. SIaN to the max.. the bench which i thot was where i left the ShOE bag and NOTHING.. siGh to the mAx.. Charged intO the bOoKing offICe.. theY oso saY NO lOst and fOUnD itEM!! plus my dad said.. EVEN HIgHEr and LOweR i tried fiNding.. to no avAil.. reallie.. alMoSt can Cry.. all the FaV things inside the shoe bag man.. there's NoThing i can do.. while fiNding.. i muz ConfeSs.. i saying to my selF..'JESuS.. SUPeR reluctanTly.. i walked back to the CAr where my DaD was.. He was very nice.. KepT calLing hiS frens.. bUt they juz never AnSwer hIs calls.. duNnoe why.. my dad is a CoAch. so he have lots of connections in YCk.. HoPefully that will hElp.. we tried to contacT one coaCh whoM we thought would have seen cos he was coaching nearest to the BENcH!! tried ant triEd.. i reallie diDn't waNt to gO hOme.. sUper saD man.. juz SAT by the KeRB.. BesiDe my caR.. i'm careless..

SuDdEnly a caLl camE..!! was the coaCh who me dad has been tryin to coNtaCt!!! he was coaching from 8 to 9 pm.. so he's the most likely person to have seen!! plus he always rest at the bencH after coaching one.. iNDEeD leh.. he said he saw a shoe bag on the bEncH and saFe keEp it in HiS sTorE!! praISe gOD man.. ImMEdiately i shoUTed for JoY.. relIEVed.. i smIled.. =) todae my dad took back my shoE bag and everything was InTacT.. my specs my slippers..!! =)

Muz be the WorK of GOd.. otherwise i would never have been able to get my things back.. thaNk gOd that my DaD is a CoaCh.. got frens around that can HelP.. iF i was juz another member of the publIc.. that's IT man.. Finally i'm bacK from a 22 days bagpacking trip AroUnd tAiwaN antI-clockwiSe manner.. hAha.. nO JokE.. sOrRy to keep you all waiting.. nevEr bLog much cos realLie no tiMe there!! or rathEr no CompUter!! can't upload any pictures too.. haha... evEn afteR i camE bacK singapOre 3 dayS ago.. busY woRking and stuff.. so... FinaLLie TODAE.. tonIght.. i shaLl bloG again!!hehe.. so i shall first bLog about my trIp which i believe manY of you are interested!! hor hoR!!?? haha.. here i go...

on tHe 5th of May.. the BROTHERHOOD minUs Lew PoH maDe our waY to TaIwaN via jEtStaR.. haha.. 4 of Us.. YeE haN, GoH CheRn, shOUwEn and myself went over to meet up wiTh jErhsuAn.. iMmediately after we laNded in TaiPei, comfirmed location, packEd diNnEr and raN to the Bus alreadY.. reallie ZErO time loss leh.. hahaha.. travelled to the fiRsT citY and began our 'JourNey'.. tsK tsK... on and On.. i stayed at every place for only maximum 2 nights.. PreTty rUsh.. most of the tiMe we spent travelling wiTh ouR bagPacKs on the train, bus or van.. sometimes end uP gettIng lOSt after we alight..!! duNnOe which direcTion.. tsk tsk.. nevertheless we'll FinD our WaY eithEr askIng pEoPle who ALWAYS try to BA4 CHO4 us or juz WaLK aimlessly!! wahaha... BA4 CHO4 means 'minced meat'..

BuSsYyy AgAin man.. RusHing everywheRe here and therE.. I ThaNK gOd.. that no matter how bUsy I waS.. I SeEms to have time for everything!! jUZ lyK JESuS when he walked on earth.. AlwaYs having time for the Sick.. tIme for the LiTtle ChidrEn.. Time to preach!! NeVEr find him late AnywhEre in the bIbLE..!! hE wAs PUNctUAL!! Juz LYk.. AhEm..!! wahaha…PRAIsE GoD man..

EarLy in the morning… 0800hrs I had to go bIshAn For Disciple Group(DG) Meeting with my church frens!! Today’s topic waS really applicable.. was about priorities in lIfe.. we ShareD.. edified one another… waS reallie a blessed time.. towards the end.. when we were praying.. suddenly I felt ImPreSsed to share about the life story of George MulLer (bLoGgeD before).. I Thank goD for the CouRaGE and aSsuRaNCe..WiThoUt DOuBt I believed it touched my frENs.. The Fact that George Muller had everything in hiS life Provided for when he PRioRitisEd goD And gAve hIS ALL to JeSuS.. hmm.. PraISe be to GoD!! =)

The DG ended at around 1215hrs.. I decided to go hOme and drive out the CaR!! AnywAy I needEd to change to JeaNS too.. AS you will know why later.. So I went home and drove out the caR to OrcharD and pArk at Ngee Ann City… SoOOoOo expensive lar.. but NVm.. once in While Ba..=) went to mArChe to prepare yIsHAN’S BiRTHdAE surprise.. AlthoUgh not many ppl went.. I think those hu could already wEnt.. Thank GoD for their EfFort lehx.. waited quite long but we OccuPieD ourselves with the TakIng of PicTureS again.. PraCtising our BluShh and stuffs… FinAlly caSs and YishaN came.. Indeed She looked quite surprise!! GoOd!! Haha.. sang and ate…HApPie 21st BIrThdaE yiSHaN.!!

At 1540hrs.. The Guys left for QueeNswaY shopping centre..!! sOoo.. 1 KaNgoo and 1 alTis ConVoy moVement on the roaD.. tHere waS some danGEroUS driVing on the RoAD.. tsk tsk.. DuNnoe hu huH.. we haD to rushed there to make oUr jerSeys that have been procrastiNatIn.!! I manAgE to mAke a malay fren with the shop..!!SoMEhow mAnge to ‘clIcK’ with HIM.. sOoO.. a GreAt DEAL!! TO GET A JERSEY and SiNGLET.. both with name and NUMbER for just 30 DolLArS!!! cHEaT rite.. IndeEd was FaVOur and Grace oF goD in My lIfe..!!

At 1730hrs.. raining hEavILy… we went back to AJC!! yeaH!! Went back for AJ iDOL.. some talentime thingy lar.. sometimes need to Go back To InsPECt maH.. wahaHA.. or RatHer ‘shOW SuPpoRt’.. its reallie good to remind us of the GoOD oLd days.. The BrothErhoOd wENt back and we saT at the AuDi Balcony.. PreTTy good and lIveLY.. thE highlight of the NIGHt was the DaNCe DispLay by YeehAun’s BrothEr.. AMazinG man… SoMe VeRy ‘GoOD’ CoaChiNg there by YeeHaUN!! Dun take all the gLorY HOR…wahaHA.. SaDly the AJ iDOl was another Guy and not Yh’s Brother.. OTherwIsE yeehAUn would have wON himself an IPOD VidEo without doIN anything.. CoulD see that he was reallIe proud of His bRother.. If ONLY yeeHaun TaUght me Earlier.. It was a gReat and Exciting Day!! On the 26th of AprIl ,Wednesday, I Went for a kAyAKing Expedition early in the morning at ChaNGi Sea Sports Club.. the weather was really HoT!! To the maX.. to an extend I was praying fOR RAiN man.. tsk tsk… Before I reached the Club.. I mAnAge to have NaSI lEmAk BreakfaST with my mUm at change village..=) hAd a reallIe gOod chat with her.. I told her that I wanted to teach tuition!! She was mOre ExciteD than me lar!! Wahaha.. I knew she’ll have no problems finding for me.. CoS of her many connections..!!! PRaISe GoD for my MuM!!

At 1000hrs.. 3 frens and I embarked our journey to CoNeY IslAnd… Sounds quite corny rite.. haha. But reallie there’s such a place.. it’s a man-made island near punggol..!! the sun was reallie scorching!! XioNg man.. even the kayaks we used got no leg rest..! so its gonna be difficult maintaining the direction.. it was a long journey.. HaD lunch at PasIr Ris Park..!! I dIn eat cos I din pack for myself.. so I juZ watch others eaT!! buT its oKIe.. I’m erM.. oN DIeT!! Haha..

At 1315hrs… We proceeded from Pasir Ris ParK to COnNIe IslAnd where weRe overlying DaRk clouds.. SADLY noT VERY intimitatin YET leh.. hahaha.. GoOD enUff to provide me some ShAde though.. So it Got me ExCited as I get closer..!! mAybe GoD is AnSwering my PRaYErs..OpPs.. As we approached CoNnIe IslAnd.. RealISed that it was surrounded by some breakwaters.! Means CannOt beach up.. mUz go FurtHEr up lor.. So we Did and we BEACheD up!! sand was great.. juz lyk SEnTosa.. EvEn more FINE!! Haha.. ManAge to rest and take PIcs!! yeaH!! =)

As I looked back where we came fRom.. DaRk CLOUds covered where we came from… Even the waters lOOk dull cos of the reflection of the sKY!! oHh noOoOoO!!!! Its goNNa be a StoRM man.. hahaha.. I’ve always wanted to kAyaK in the RaIN.. StoRm even BeTter.. ‘Enjoying’ the RAIN DroPs daShin towards my FaCE!! StROng wInd BlowINg my JunGle HaT oFf!! I ThINK I better put on my spray cover before my kAyAk becomes flooded…

1400hrs… The More I kAyaK towards the storm which waS Juz BEForE my EyeS.. I waS usuAllie iN front.. tsK tsk.. I was EXCITED… waT I Gonna ExpECt!! My frens were SHouting.. “LENNY!! sTay close to the ShORe!! LENNY should we BEacH up??” Those hu noe KNoW me.. I SURELY saY.. “NO NEED!!!! The storm not heavy enUff!! caN still go!!” *sOoOOo excited* I would juz cheong to the fRont and StoP sUddEnly..my kayak rocking to and Flo..dUN care!! I toOk lots of pIcs with my WATERPROOFED camera of course.. tsk tsk.. sOoOO pls appreciate mY eFfoRt oKie.. haha..

TheRe liGhtniNgs faR away.. I would always count 1 thousand 2 thousand 3 thousand and sO on to determine how Far Is the lightning away from me.. Before lONg we manage to geT bAck to ChAngI.. the return trip was much faster since we had the currents to help us.. it was raiNIng and windy..!! when we goT back.. we still spend some time doing Rolls!! Sea to Sea anD eskImO…!! For those hu duNNoe.. its actuallie goin 360 degress into and out of the WatER WIThoUT capsizing.. quite SkILl rite.. buT can be done!! I did one each then I resTed already.. =) ShaG ouT lar.. haha..

At 1530hrs.. thE LightNIngs were at very close pRoxiMIty..!! lyK only 1km!! so I deciDed we sHOuld EvaCuatE sInce the visibility already quite Low.. tsk tsk.. Not SoOO daring Afterall rite.. haha… After BeachIng up.. almost had ZERO strength to carry back our kAyaKs lar.. very fuNnie.. mOve FeW steps already stop.. WeaK already.. NS man.. hahah.. NeEd more iN-CaMPs I think.. tsk tsk…Eventuallie manage to DRaG back the KayAks lar.. hhahaha.. jkjk…

I cHanged, bathed and everything.. then my parents Came and Drove me HoME.. luckily they came.. cos it was raining.. waS rushing for time!! Had to go home.. bathe and change. ReCon 1!! At DinNEr AppOintmenT with Samson and Vivian and her FrEN for dinner at CiTy Hall..Ate CaRl’s JUniOr lor.. tsk tsk..That was around 1900hrs

STiLL not the END leh.. until 2100hrs.. I wEnt hOme to take thE caR.. Now’s SUppEr appointment.. hu else but my BrotherHoOD.. yesSsS AGaiN.. TSK Tsk…tis time DifFereNt.. celebratin Yee Haun’s DriVing test pAss!! =) yeah.. so I met them at chomp x2 .. drOve tgt to OrChaRd for Pool anD supper..!! Muz leT him practice dRiVIng mah.. So FuNN.. haha.. love His KanGoo man… all the wAy until 0200hrs then reach home.. ShAg.. but happy…

I want to share a GreAT maN of FAITh and PRayEr that really bleSSeD is still BLeSsing me exceedingly..!! As i read through his biography i am cOnvINced i want to live a life lYk his... He is none other thaN GEorGe Muller (1805-1898) the preacher of GOd's Word and a pHilanthrOpist!!

Some accomPlishments of George's life throught simple faitH... Started 117 schOols which educated over 120,000 young people!! Circulated MILliOns of Scriptures and books..!! Received £1,500,000 in answer to prayer WIThOUT ever needing to ask for funds..!! 50,000 specific answers to prayer requests to God alone! Read the Bible through over 200 times, half of these times on his kNEes.! Greatest of all Muller's undertakings was the erection and maintenance of the 5 EnORmoUs orphanages at Bristol. He began with OnLY 50 cents in his pocket.!! In answer to PraYEr and WITHOUT making his needs known to HumAn Beings, relying completely on GoD as the PRoVider..!! He received the means necessary to erect these great buildings and to feed the orphans, more than 2000 of them, day by day for sixty years.!! These children NevERmissed a meal. A well known story indicatex....

One morning the plates and cups and bowls on the table were empty. There was no food in the larder, and no money to buy food. The children were standing waiting for their morning meal, when Mueller said, "Children, you know we must be in time for school." Lifting his hand he said, "Dear Father, we thank Thee for what Thou art going to give us to eat." There was a knock on the door. The baker stood there, and said, "Mr. Mueller, I couldn't sleep last night. Somehow I felt you didn't have bread for breakfast and the Lord wanted me to send you some. So I got up at 2 a.m. and baked some fresh bread, and have brought it." Mueller thanked the man. No sooner had this transpired when there was a second knock at the door. It was the milkman.!! He announced that his milk cart had broken down right in front of the Orphanage, and he would like to give the children his cans of fresh milk so he could empty his wagon and repair it. No wonder, years later, when Mueller was to travel the world as an evangelist, he would be heralded as "the man who gets things from God!" *eXcited*!!

No onE would ever thoUGht!! when George was YouNG.. He wandered very deep into SIN before he was brought to ChriST. George deceived his father about his spEndinG. He stole the government's money during his father's absence.!! Althought there were few solemn thoughts and desires to lead a better life came to him, but he continued to plunge DeePER and deEPer into sin. Lying, stealing, gambling, novel-reading, licentiousness, extravagance, and almost EVERY form of sin was indulged in by him. NO OnE would have imagined that the sinful youth would ever become eminent for his faith in God and for his power in prayer. His money was spent on sinful pleasures, and once he was reduced to such poverty that, in order to satisfy his hunger, he had to resort to stealing. He was even ImPrisoNeD before!!

So what maDe George Muller changed completely!!!??? Juz lyk many of us... He LONGED for ReST and peaCE to his TrouBled SPirIT, but he was ignorant on how it was to be obtained!! At age 20.. the turnIng PoinT came when.. he attended Church and became was DeEply interested and IMpressEd with what he saw and HEard!! He returned there several times, and not long after he accepted the LORD JESUS as his SAVIOUR.. The word of God became his JOY and DELIGHT, his old frens who were bad influence gave up hope on him, although RidiCUled and laughed at, George Muller bOldlY wITnesSed for CHirSt!! George began to enjoy the PEAce of God, which SuRpaSs ALL uNDerStanding. JoYfuLly he wrote to his father and brother, entreating them to seek the Lord, and telling them how happy he was. Thinking, that if THE WAY to happInesS were set before them, they would gladly embrace it.AmEn..=)

In his 93rd year, he went to be with the LoRd. Leaving £160 in his will. He gaVe hiS ALL to JesuS.. One of the greatest man of prayer.. If God Can use him.. God can use me too.!! Praise be To gOD..!! I always feel coMfoRted that the God whom i worshipped and is my HeavEnly FatHEr todae... was the same God, who parted the ReD SEa for the childRen of IsrEaL, RaINed MaNna dailY from heaven as FoOD, caused the Jericho walls to FaLl, shut the LiONs' MOuThs, HeaLED the sick, RaISed the DeaD and CaLMed the sEa, still performs miracles TodAE..!!

Many people believe that the days of mIraCles are over and that it only happens when JeSuS walked on Earth!! Absolutely NO!! God is a GoD of Miracles todAE!!

If you won't remember the famous story of JeSus raising Lazarus from the DeaD. Martha, sister of LaZarus was like one of these people i am talking about.! She wondered if Jesus could perform a miracle when her brother LaZarUs DIed. By the time Jesus arrived on the scene, Lazarus had already been dead for four days. So she thought that JeSUs was four days too LatE.!! That is why she said, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.” (John 11:21) And even when JeSuS said that Lazarus would rise again, she said, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.” (John 11:24)

Martha believed that JeSuS could perform miracles in the PAsT and would do the same in the FUtUre, but she did not believe that JeSUs Could Give her a MIRAcle riGht where she NEEDed..!!! Martha was someone who lived wishing that the PaSt could be ChanGed and believing that the FuTuRe would be BeTTer.SOuNds famIliar?? Juz lyk somE of uS?? tsk tsk... This is one of the first race i took part together with my recce coy people. Basically we would train up by running to Chua Chu Kang swimming pool.. swim laps and run back to camp!! training wasn't tough.. eveERYone could Do it.. =)

StanDard Chartered MArathon 05
The first time all of train for a marathon! killEr to e max.. haha.. Covering a distance of 42.195km.. its seriously no joke.. TraiNIng is a MUST!! twice a week my camp guyz would go down to east coast park and run. Progressive training from 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 km... At 22 km.. we realised that we did not have much time due to mission training in camp. Hence we jumped from 22 km to 27 km to 32 km!! thats it!! the rest is so called 'magical' distance. My aim was juz to complete! can get medal and Adidas T-Shirt..! haha.. the feeling of being at the start point still stir feaR in my heart!! wasn't expecting much.. juZ pRAy and dun woRriE!! =)

(On the Left) Was still fresh at the 10 km mark.. Still can LooK arouND... tsk tsk...

(On the Right) ThATs it.. at the end i was MAX OUT!! wahaha.. was in agony.. The last streTch was reallie good.. so glad that i still could sprint!! PraiSe gOD!! Cos alot of peOple watchin..oPpss

CuRious about my result in the eNd!?! tsk tsk.. WanNa God that not juz did He brought me thru the whole race!! i finished Top 11% in the Open category!! meAns got include overseas competitiors.. reallie happie.. =)

SURF and SWEAT 06
A surf and run race at SenOTsa...!! Not reallie very fun race but a good experience cos its at SenOTsa!! the surfing part is quite stupid.. juz LIE on a board and paddle with yr hands.. Running portion 5km was goOD!! ups and downs.. i enjoyed it.. NTh Much to taLk about.. opps! haha

Enuff of those races that were quite monotonous.. Nothing but run and swim. So i decided to participate in something more DynAmic!! aDventure Racing!! haha.. So X-PhySique was my first adventure race. iN adventure Race.. you do much more things!! Such as Kayaking...running.. swimming... navigatin... Abseiling... cyclin... and much more..!! FUn!! Since also first time.. did not expect much about winning.. haha.. Cut the Long story short!! my team came in 6th!! reallie OuTstANding for a first time!! Got medal somemore!! pRaiSe GoD! again..=)

NatIonal VerticAl MaraThon 06

This is something New!! its a vertical marathon! climbing stairs only rite.. no biG deaL!! haha... so joined lor.. did not train much.. In fact only once when i decided to cheong up to the top of my flat (16 storeys).. Shag man.. and the race is 48 storeys i think.. forgot.. ReaLlie good experience lar..!! i cheong during the race.. wanting to catch up with CK who started 1 min before me (previous detail).. at least can finish with me..!! wahaha.. PraISe God!! i did it and finished top 10%!! 6 min 35 sec i think..haha...=)

AdVenture SIngapore 06

Probably one of the most expensive one..!! another adventure racing!! haha.. 180 dollars per team.. excluding the team equipment muz bring.. I knew i was into something reallie tough. There had to be skill Test on Abseilling for safety reasons.. SooO seriOus lar they all. haha.. then i bought a Bike helmet puposely for this race.. Did all sorts of abseilling man... vertical, horizontal and diagonal!! all incorporated in the race.. XioNg.. ConfiRm..i had a reallie bad fall on the way down MoUnt Faber durin the race.. flew off my bike.. bloOd stain on my shirt and bike even.. still recoverin..=) thats another sad story all together..Nvm.. During the race.. was reallie challengin physicaly.. maybe i took long never train cos i'm NSmAN.. yea.. nEvertheless i thAnk God for seeing me thru the race!! and ending up 10th...

After 4 hours setting up this blOg finaLly managed to add an audio to the background...! Seriously wasn't as easy as i thought man... I started off askin Ck how to do it!! Cos he is a frequent BlOgger plUs he is equipped with all the C++ programming skills from library books!?! haha.. he said he only know how to attach 'mIdI' file! which explains the 'final fantasy' tune behind his blog.!

I felt midi is quite monotonous rite!! i wan at least MP3 lar.. tsk tsk... he said he duNnoe BUT gave me a brilliant solution... haha... guess wat.. he asked me to scruntinise Jer Hsuan's 'template' of his blog! if you're a NeWbie lyk me 4 hours ago..haha.. this template is like some cHUnk of computer commands.. won't understand unless you're good at it! i spent like hours scanning thru and searchin the NeT until around 0200hrs leh!! finally.. the bAckgroUnd song is up!!
